Laser Assisted Hatching

Using laser, our embryologists makes a small opening in the zona pellucida (outer shell of the embryo). The process of IVF culture, advanced age of women undergoing IVF, freezing of embryos are individual risk factors for the outer shell of embryos to become thicker than normal and not break around the time of implantation of embryo.

The process of assisted hatching facilitates the embryo to more easily hatch out of the shell and leads to better chances of implantation and pregnancy.
